IT-AI pricing
Self-hosting IT-AI is free: the agent, MCP server and CLI are MIT, and the hub is Elastic License 2.0, free for your own organization. Hosted plan coming.
Self-hosted: free
| Part | Licence | Cost |
|---|---|---|
Agent (it-ai), MCP server (it-ai-mcp), CLI (itai) |
MIT | free, for any use |
Hub (it-ai-hub) |
Elastic License 2.0 | free to self-host for your own organization |
There is no per-device or per-technician fee and no device cap for self-hosting. You pay for the server you run the hub on. If you use the hub's built-in AI assistant, you also pay Anthropic directly for the API key you set on the hub. If you drive the fleet with your own AI over MCP, you pay for that AI, not for IT-AI.
The Elastic License 2.0 lets you run the hub for your own organization. It does not let you offer the hub to third parties as a hosted or managed service. Read the licence text before you build a service on it.
Hosted: coming
A hosted plan, where we run the hub for you, is coming. It has not launched, and no prices are published. This page will carry them when it does.
Why bring your own AI key
The AI that operates your fleet is the most sensitive component, so you hold its key. IT-AI does not resell model tokens or mark them up. The hub's built-in assistant calls Anthropic with the API key you set on the hub; over MCP, the AI is whichever client you connect, on your own account.
What IT-AI does not do
IT-AI is an RMM for remote control, commands, files, software, update checks and compliance grading. It does not include, at any price:
- patch rollout policies (rings, maintenance windows, approvals per patch);
- PSA, ticketing or billing;
- backup;
- MDM for phones and tablets, or mobile viewer apps;
- over-the-air image updates for embedded fleets.
If you need those, a full-suite RMM is the better buy. The comparison page says which one fits what.
