The verdict. TeamViewer wins on maturity, native mobile apps, and sheer breadth — if you need a battle-tested cross-platform incumbent with deep mobile support and enterprise tooling, it's the safe pick. Choose IT-AI when you want self-hosted ownership with nothing routing through a vendor cloud, no per-seat cost, an AI that diagnoses and fixes with a human clicking Apply on every change, and MCP-native automation across the whole fleet. IT-AI is AI-native remote support plus light RMM — its remote-desktop clients are newer than TeamViewer's, and it is not trying to match TeamViewer's mobile breadth.
